How to transfer data from your old Android smartphone to Apple iPhone ?

All those who have migrated from Android operating system to iOS have faced this dilemma at least once– whether to ditch the old Android ecosystem or not? While the change in apps and their functionality is inescapable, what appears as a cause of concern for most people is the issue of data transfer. From contacts and media files to calendar entries and messages, the amount of data to be transferred while switching smartphones is humongous and the confusion is obvious. If you accidentally deleted or lost videos on iPhone, first please check on the Recently Deleted folder. Alternatively, you can use the professional tool Gihosoft iPhone Recovery to recover deleted iPhone videos from Camera Roll or some apps.
However there is no need to panic, as thanks to technology, you can transfer data from your old Android smartphone to your brand new iPhone in a matter of seconds (not literally!).
But before you begin here’s a list of things that you’ll need:
a) An Apple device running on iOS 9 or later (your new iPhone or iPad)
b) An Android device running on Android 4.0 or later (your old smartphone)
c) A Wi-Fi connection
Ok, now that everything is in place, just follow these steps:
Step 1: Set up your iPhone until you reach ‘Apps and Data’ screen.
Step 2: Tap ‘Move Data from Android’.
Step 3: Open Google Play Store on your Android device and search for ‘Move to iOS’ app.
Step 4: ‘Install’ the app on your Android device. Tap ‘Open’ once the app has been successfully installed.
Step 5: Tap ‘Continue’on your Android device.
Step 6: Read the terms and conditions of the agreement and tap on ‘Agree’ and then ‘Next’ buttons on your Android device.

Step 7: Enter the 12-digit code from your iPhone on your Android device.
Once you enter the code on your Android device, both the devices will be connected via a Wi-Fi connection.
Step 8: Select the data you want to transfer and Tap ‘Next’.
The two devices will automatically disconnect when the transfer process is complete. Once all your data including– details of your Google account, bookmarks, camera, messages and contacts– have been safely transferred you can continue setting up your iPhone.
